Dite was my only daughter from Asia. She was a very happy girl with a glowing personality. For a few years she lived in Puerto Rico fulltime in a nursing home giving the residents a lot of joy. After a hurricane hit and destroyed much of Dite's owner's farm and nursing home, she was returned to me as he was unable to give Dite all the time and attention she desired.
Dite spent a bit of time tracking but I had decided against trialing her because of her age. She was only shown a handful of times takeing many reserve winners and has one AKC point. As a veteren she won the open bitch class at the ABMC '03 National specialty and was 4th in Vet. sweeps. My favorite all time win was when Dite and her mother went Best Brace in Show at the Ocala Dog Show. Dite left us too soon in her life after complications from a rattlesnake bite. She will be greatly missed.
